Bronze Me!

I just purchased my first bronzer of the year by Sugar. I love the super large compact that has an endless supply of bronzer for my face and body. After spending an obvious amount of time at the "bronzing station" at Sephora with several different brands, Sugar was the best. This product by Benefit has been out for a little while, but now is a great time of year to use it! It is a bronzer/highlighter in one. The product placement is amazing. You simply use the brush to sweep the product and then place it on your cheeks. A Positive Mousse

So I haven't been a fan of "mousse" blush but decided to give it another shot. Maybelline's "Dream Mousse" blush actually gives me a natural look and blends quite well. Just be sure to use it over a liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer. For the price, this product is fantastic! {Maybelline}

The Balm!

This wonderful lip balm by Caswell-Massey was given to me as a gift. I can't tell you how many lip balms I have tried and am thrilled with the results of this product. My husband is a huge fan as well. It leaves my lips silky smooth, protected with Vitamin E, and doesn't cake or leave a waxy texture on my lips. I have been looking at this product for a while and finally made the purchase. It is Aveeno's Positively Radiant Eye Cream. It helps with dark circles, puffiness, and smooths lines. Sunscreen Tip

I recently spoke with Aesthetician Angie Isbell, owner of Isbella Institute in Miami, FL about mistakes regarding our skincare routine. Here is one of the mistakes she mentioned:
“Not wearing any sun protection or adequate daily protection... An example would be accepting that the spf in your makeup is enough. This is a huge misconception. You will never get the full protection from makeup unless you layer it heavy. Make sure you use a full-spectrum spf of at least 15. An spf 30 is even better. It should protect you from both UVA and UVB rays.”

Retexturize Treatment

About once or twice a week I really like to give my skin a treatment with a nice glycolic. One product I enjoy is Therapy Systems 10% glycolic treatment. It comes in a cream or oil-free formula. You may choose between a 10 or 15 % strength. I always recommend the lower percentage if your skin is not used to AHAs.
